Gio Reyna starts back-to-back USMNT matches for the first time since the Concacaf Nations League Semifinal and Final on June 3 and June 6, 2021 against Honduras and Mexico, respectively.

The USMNT needs a draw or win tonight in order to advance to the 2022-23 Concacaf Nations League Finals to be played this June in Las Vegas. Mexico advanced out of Group A on Sunday night, while the results of the Costa Rica-Panama (Group B) and Canada-Honduras (Group C) matches will determine the other two semifinalists.
The USMNT is 19-1-7 all-time against El Salvador and goes into the match riding a 21-game unbeaten streak which dates back to 1992. The team is 12-0-5 against La Selecta in official competition.
