Last ball. Ishant misses the length. It is a full toss, but Rashid Khan can’t put it away. Delhi Capitals have won this game. They have defended 130 against, what is probably the best chasing side in IPL.
Seven needed of the last ball.

Hardik gets to his fifty with a single against Kuldeep. He has held this chase together for the Titans. Abhinav Manohar tries to go big, but it doesn’t carry to the long on fielder. End of a splendid spell from Kuldeep.
Nortje is back in. He starts with a wide. Then goes short and Hardik swivels to pull it for a four, just past the square leg umpire. A couple of singles added to the total. 42 runs needed in the last 4 overs.
Axar Patel with his last over. The required run rate has crept to 10. Axar misses his line and Hardik squares cut it for a four to ease the pressure. Axar reins it in the rest of the over, with eight runs coming from it.
Warner tosses the ball to Khaleel Ahmed. DC needs wickets to stand a chance in this game. Khaleel comes from around the wicket. He beats Abhinav, who attempts a cut shot. Goes short and Hardik swats it away for a four square of short fine leg.

Hardik Pandya faces up against Khaleel. The bowler errs his line, going to Pandya’s pads and it is disdainfully picked away for a four. Khaleel goes back of a length and Pandya goes cross bat to put it away for another four. Wait, it gets better. Khaleel goes wide and short and Hardik slashes it away for one more four. GT’s chase is well and truly on.
Ishant Sharma is Khaleel’s new ball partner. Sticks to a fourth stump line, not affording Gill any space to go after him. Four dot balls to start with, before Gill manufactures a shot on the leg side for a couple. Ishant gives width and Gill slices it through covers for the first four of the innings.

David Warner: We will bat first. Looks like a nice wicket. We’ll have confidence if we put runs on the board. We have to come out positive and start will in the first six. Marsh is sick so Rossouw comes back. Khaleel is back after a niggle.
Hardik Pandya: We were planning to bowl. Thought chasing would be good here the way the things are going. We spoke about our intent we want to keep. Always stay calm and be humble, no matter where you stand in the tumble. We are going with the same team.
Nick Knight: It is the third time it is being used. It’s a nice covering of grass but it’s thinned down a little bit. I have spoken to the groundsman, he said it is a little drier because we are expecting rain and when they put the covers on, they don’t want this to be too moist. Might see a bit of cracks here and there. If you are getting around 180-190, you probably got a winning score batting first here. Essentially, it is a pretty flat and good surface overall.
