While speaking on an RCB podcast, Mohammed Siraj said that it is easy to write and abuse while sitting behind a screen. He also asserted that trollers and haters don’t know about a player’s struggles.
“It’s easy to write and abuse while sitting behind a screen, but you don’t know anything about his struggle. How can you abuse him? Those messages can make a person lose all his motivation. For no reason, you get abused,” Siraj said.

Siraj also said that when he was retained by RCB ahead of IPL 2022, everyone termed him as the best-retained player. After he failed to perform well in the season, they questioned his retention in the team.
“Why? What next? They would make you the future of India one day and the very next day they would ask you to get lost and drive an auto. Why? I don’t understand it. When you do well, people praise you calling you the next big thing. When I was retained, people would call me the best-retained player. Now they are asking me why I was retained? ‘There was no need for you to get retained. You are not even good enough to play cricket,’ Siraj further said.
