Ab de Villiers, a former South African batter, is one of the all-time greats. When he played at the top level, the former right-handed hitter was a bowler’s major headache. A few years ago, he declared his retirement from the game in all of its forms. Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav has replaced De Villiers as the new Mr. 360 degree ever since he left the scene.
The 32-year-old Indian, who is now ranked No. 1 among T20I batters by the ICC, totally enthralls spectators with his hitting and creative strokes, which everyone associates with Ab de Villiers.

Surya and the former South African cricketer have been compared frequently because of their comparable aggressive hitting approaches, but if one listens to Ab de Villiers, he claims to have found a 19-year-old batter who has traits similar to Surya. Dewald Brevis, a former U-19 World Cup standout and fellow countryman of Devilliers, who shares a dressing room with Surya at the Mumbai Indians during the IPL, is the young player.
Brevis sometimes referred to as “Baby AB,” has allegedly demonstrated characteristics that are comparable to those of Suryakumar, which thrills Ab de Villiers.

“There are certainly similarities in the way that they approach the game. They’re both really aggressive, they want to take the bowlers on, and they don’t let the bowlers settle.
Dewald is obviously a lot younger and still has a lot to learn, whereas SKY is more experienced these days. He come a long way having performed well for the Mumbai Indians at the IPL. But they both excite me a lot,” AB de Villiers wrote in his blog for Betway.
The five-time winners of the super auction that took place in February signed Brevis for Rs 3 crore, and he made his IPL debut the following year. He had the opportunity to participate in seven games during his first season in the lucrative league, during which he scored 161 runs at an average of 23.00 and a strike rate of 142.47.
