A new week is here and that means new movies and shows are being added to Netflix. And this week brings a new season of a book-to-streaming Netflix Original, a reality dance competition, and an animated adventure film.
The biggest new show coming to Netflix this week is season 2 of Shadow and Bone. The series is based on the very popular Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows series by Leigh Bardugo. The first season ended with The Darkling supposedly dead until he emerged from The Fold and he is now ready for vengeance.
In the new season, we see what he has in mind and Alina and Mal will have to do everything they can to stop him and they have some help from some new characters. How the Crows fit into this season is still unclear but based on the addition of Wylan, it looks like we might be getting The Six of Crows storyline where they break into the Ice Court for the biggest heist of all time.
Season 2 hits Netflix on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

More in the mood for a dancing competition show? Dance 100 comes to Netflix on Friday, March 17. Dance 100 is a street dance competition that’s looking for the next great choreographer. In each episode, the contestants must create choreography and then perform it using 100 of the best dancers in the world. The show is hosted by fitness instructor Ally Love.

The Magician’s Elephant is also headed to Netflix this week on Friday, March 17. The animated movie features the voices of Mandy Patinkin, Miranda Richardson, Pixie Davies, Noah Jupe, Benedict Wong, Natasia Demetriou, and Aasif Mandvi.
The film follows an orphaned boy who goes to a fortune teller who tells him that an elephant will help him find his lost sister. To find the elephant, he must first find a magician that will conjure it up and he must complete three “impossible” tasks.
